What Is the Indian DGCA Program and How Much Does It Cost?
FlyBy’s Indian DGCA Program offers a training pathway that qualifies pilots under EASA regulations and also allows them to obtain their DGCA license through a straightforward process.
Flight training and ground school begin in Spain, following the integrated ATPL program that will earn you your EASA license. During your 15 months in Spain, FlyBy provides accommodation, meals, an airport shuttle and much more.
The DGCA conversion is carried out by one of our qualified local partners in India, who delivers the remaining ground school subjects, the required exams and the flight hours mandated in Indian airspace. In Spain, you train on DGCA-approved aircraft: Tecnam P2002, P2008, P-Mentor and P2006, Cessna 172 and Piper PA28.
Complete EASA ATPL training: 13 theoretical subjects (Austro Control exams, held monthly), VFR, IFR, multi-engine and advanced flight training, APS MCC, UPRT and night rating.
Those who wish may complete an EASA-approved Airbus A320 or Boeing 737 type rating after obtaining their EASA license. Full details are available upon request.
The 3 remaining ATPL subjects (Navigation, Meteorology and Air Law), RTR(A) exam preparation and sitting, Technical Specific Paper and skill test on a Cessna 172 if necessary, and the flight hours mandated in Indian airspace.
